Any good filing system uses folders. We already have a few for you, and you can seem them in the figure to the left. However, we recommend that you add your own folders according to your needs. Keeping your secure environment organized will make it an effective environment. |
In order to sort messages to other folders you have to create them by clicking Mailbox, then My Folders, then New Folder.
The table in My Folders tells you how many messages and unread messages you have in each folder, and the capacity consumed by each folder.
You can't delete or update the predefined folders (Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Trash, etc.) but you can edit or delete the folders you create. If you want to delete a folder, click the Delete button that is next to it in the My Folders section.
Trash Folder
You can decide whether or not you want to keep deleted messages in your
Trash folder by going to Mail Settings and then clicking one of the
options under "Handling Removed Mails."
When you keep messages in your Trash folder they take up disk space. To
permanently delete these messages go to your Trash folder, check the
messages, and then click Delete.
Folders View
Folders are used to organize your secure environment.
The Safe-mailTM system includes 7 predefined folders - Inbox, Notices, Sent, Drafts, Junk, Archive, and Trash.

[SHOW/HIDE] - Click Show/Hide to allow folders that have been checked to be visible, or invisible, when viewing the folder list.
[NEW FOLDER] - Click new folder to create a new folder.
[EMPTY buttons] - Click empty to remove the messages for each of the Notices, Junk, Archive, and Trash folders.
[DELETE buttons] - Click delete to remove each of the associated folders. All of the messages contained in the deleted folder will be removed without being moved to the trash folder.
[EDIT buttons] - Click edit to change the details of each associated folder.
Beneath the folders table you will see the following:
Sort your incoming mail automatically into designated folders.
SORT - Click the sort link to open the filter window. The filter window will allow you to create filters that will allow your messages to be automatically organized and managed by Safe-mail.
Create a New Folder

Folder name - type the name of the folder that you want to create
Description - write a description of the folder. We recommend that you mention the messages that you intend to store in this folder, and the filters that will move messages to this folder.
In folder - select the folder in which you wish to create the new folder. If no folder is selected, Safe-mail will assume that you wish to create the folder in the Top level.
[CREATE button] - click to create a new folder. No folder will be created unless you have entered a folder name.
