Keeping outgoing messages

Example:

You sent a message to your aunt yesterday telling her how sorry you are that you couldn't come to her party. Now your 2nd cousin wants to know why you weren't at your aunt's party. You would like to just go back to the message that you sent your aunt and copy some of that into a new message for your cousin.

In other words, you want to keep a log of your sent messages.

How?

  1. Click the Settings button at the top of the screen.

  2. Click the Mail control tab.

  3. Check the "by default keep outgoing mails in user's Sent folder" box.

  4. You may specify whether to keep each message in your Sent folder by clicking or un-clicking the "Save in Sent folder" box when you write the message.
