When a user fills in his or her personal details and doesn't put a block on publishing them, these details can automatically be uploaded to another user's address book. This ensures that the contact information in the address book will always be updated with the most recent details filled in by users.
To fill in the User Info form click the My Info
The data in the User Info form is divided into five sections - Name, Contact Info, Personal, Other and Picture.
Controlling Access to Your User
You can control access to each section via the Publish popup menu located at the head of each section. This popup menu allows you to select:
The Name section includes 5 fields - Nickname, Title, First name, Middle name and Last name. If you fill in all 5 fields, the Nickname will be the one to appear in your sent mails at the 'From:' section. If you do not fill in a Nickname, any of the other filled in fields (Title, First name, Middle name or Last name) will appear at the 'From:' section. If you don't fill in any of the fields, your Safe-mailTM address will appear at the 'From:' section at the header of your sent mails.
Clicking on the name that appears at the From section of a message will display the personal details which that user decided to publish. This way you can learn about people who write to you and they can learn about you.
The User Info section provides an opportunity for you to fill in your personal details.
All the fields are optional and you may ignore some or all of the fields if you wish.
